This is a much needed application if you intend on using your truck with high horse power functions. One CP3pump can not supply as much fuel as you need to keep the fuel volume and pressure. Eventually you will lose power, get high EGT’s and your pump life will be diminished. This kit will let enough fuel flow to allow the  use of injector nozzles without displaying a low fuel rail pressure code.

What does a CP3 Pump do?

The purpose of the CP3 pump is to bring fuel from the tank and deliver it to the fuel rail that houses the injectors. It was designed for the 2003 to 2007 Cummins. The system doubles the effectiveness of the original pump. It was intended to work in combination with and maximize the existing system. The ATS pump kit will get you incredible gains in power and consistency.

The importance of Fuel Volume

Although pressure is very important it is not the only concern with a CP3 pump. Fuel volume is just as important. What it essentially is, is the amount of fuel you can add into the cylinders during injection. This adds up to massive power!
