Easy installation and setup
The SCT SF3 Ford 6.4L Diesel Power Flash Programmer with Extreme Tune is for the Ford 6.4L engine. It comes already loaded with DYNO tune files made to improve horsepower and torque. Installation is super easy. You just plug the SCT Flash into the OBDII port already equipped in your vehicle. From there you just choose the tune file you need and use the navigation menu to program your vehicle. The SCT Flash holds a back up of your factory PCM program during the initial installation in case you ever need to return you vehicle to stock programming. All you have to do is choose return to stock on the menu. How much easier can it get than that!
Increase horsepower, torque and throttle response!
The SCT Flash has been proven to increase horsepower, torque, and response of your throttle. It will even improve your fuel mileage. Saving on diagnostic fees is always a good thing, right? The SCT Flash has you covered. They engineered the Flash to read and clear diagnostic trouble codes quickly. You can monitor EGT temps as well as air-fuel ratios and you are always free to adjust for bolt-ons like cold air kits or exhaust systems. One really great feature of this scanner is the ability to view and record your trucks PCM information on either the display screen or view it from your laptop. This enables you to keep precise records on your vehicle. A USB interface Cable and Livelink Datalogging software is also included in your package.

Part wear and design issues can create problems with drivability after some time. Even in newer model trucks, modifications and updates can be needed. Manufacturers are constantly provide firmware updates for ECM files. These changes can be updated by flash programming to improve overall performance.
