SpeedBrake’s patented transmission shifting technology locks and unlocks the torque converter and turbo vanes to keep you at a consistent speed. You can literally watch everything going on via the on screen alerts and information display on the Banks iQ Dashboard included in this package. On top of all this it also serves as an OBDII scan tool!

Three operating modes to choose from

SpeedBrake electronic braking system has included operating modes and settings to choose from to match your specific driving needs. The On mode gives you three options of high, medium and low braking forcefulness. Auto Mode works like cruise control for hauling. You can set a certain downhill speed anywhere from 25 to 75mph. There is an additional mode for Foot Brake Activation. You can choose to either run or eliminate this option at any time. The Banks iQ supplies the user with two-way communication. SpeedBrake also displays a full list of vehicle parameters including current braking pressure and operating gear to braking mode and target speed.

Add more horsepower

The Banks Power Bullet Tuner with EGT Probe has three settings for power gains. Whether you choose stock, towing or sport, you will instantly reap the rewards of the Power Bullet Tuner with EGT Probe. The tow setting will add up to 30% hp, and the sport setting will get you up to about 60hp! All this with power adjustability and on-the-fly control.

Need more boost?

Boost is another advantage of the Power Bullet Tuner. The bullet, in addition to adding horsepower, will also deliver  more boost. This product is equipped with a Digital Boost Gauge. By choosing an added setting, it will enable you to select a boost that will display the visual alarm that can be adjusted from 20 to 50 PSI in single increments.

Displays your fuel temperature

Stock settings are always determined at 100. The setting you choose will be the stock 100 plus whatever you choose. So say you choose 160 percent, this means the original 100 plus 60% more fuel delivery.

Raise EGT’s

The EGT setting on this model will require a thermocouple upgrade but its well worth it. A thermocouple is a thermoelectric device that’s used for measuring temperature.  What this means for you is having the power to limit your fuel temperatures, meaning you can tell the Power Bullet to keep your engine temperature at a certain level, therefore saving your engine from damaging heat.

Wastegate Actuator

What can it do for me?

The Banks Power BigHead Wastegate Actuator for Ford gives you more mid-range strength helps you to attain that higher peak boost more quickly than you would expect. This product provides your truck with an enormous torque straight from the idle. It more than doubles the stock diaphram area and spring pressure.

How it works

The Banks big head actuator keeps the valve seated for an extended period to achieve a higher peak boost earlier. The wastegate opens and holds where its at for boost control that gives you raw acceleration and mid-range pulling power. What an actuator actually is, is a valve that diverts exhaust gases away from the turbine wheels in a turbocharged system. The main purpose of the wastegate is to get the most boost pressure in the system to protect the engine and turbocharger.

Banks Power Sidewinder Turbo System for GM can provide gains of up to 60hp and 155+ lb-ft torque with savings of around  19 percent better fuel economy. This kit comes in a custom fit for your exact model vehicle and comes with a turbo, exhaust, intake system, gauges and the hardware you will need for installation. Installation is made even easier with a full set of installation instructions.

Advantages of a turbo system

Turbochargers in diesel engines has its advantages also. Turbochargers don’t have to change speed quite as often as a smaller car would and this reduces the turbo lag, making a diesel more efficient. A turbocharged engine can also give you much more torque and help with towing capacities.
