Yes, o-rings will do okay and can last if you are using your truck as a daily street driver, usually holding no more than 80 PSI of boost. But if you’re not sure whether you need the improved fit, but do need to replace the o-rings or gaskets anyway, consider the benefits of getting one of these kits. You won’t regret going with a much better alternative to regular o-rings and gaskets, especially given that these kits won’t cost you that much more than what you may already be getting ready to spend. Of course, you’ll want to take it easy on the throttle during the first month of use and should re-torque the studs after the first 200 miles of street driving or after your first competition.
