Phenomenal starting power and massive deep cycle reserve power in one battery! Some batteries provide enormous cranking power. Others, deep cycle reserve power. The revolutionary ODYSSEY battery is designed to do both. How is this possible? The answer begins with flat plates made of 99.99% pure virgin lead – not lead alloy. Pure lead plates can be made thinner, so we can fit more of them in the battery. More ODYSSEY battery plates mean more plate surface area. And that means more power – twice as much as conventional batteries. In fact, ODYSSEY batteries are capable of providing engine cranking pulses in excess of 2250 amps for 5 seconds – double to triple that of equally sized conventional batteries, even at very low temperatures. And they can handle 400 charge-discharge cycles to 80% depth of discharge.

Thanks to rugged construction and AGM (Absorbed Glass Mat) design, ODYSSEY batteries have an 8-12 year design life and a 3-10 year service life.  Welded intercell connections enable it to withstand extreme vibration, and AGM design holds acid in place to prevent spills, even when installed on its side.  And unlike conventional batteries, ODYSSEY batteries can be stored for up to 2 years and still be returned to full power.*

*At 25C (77F). Storage times will be even longer at lower temperatures.

Cat Back or Turbo Back Exhaust System… Which is right for your diesel truck?

At OCDiesel.com, we sell all types of exhaust systems. But which is the right one for you? It all depends on how you use your diesel truck. The two most common types of exhaust systems would be Cat Back and Turbo Back.

Cat Back refers to the portion of the exhaust system from the outlet of the catalytic converter to the final vent to open air. Cat Back systems generally include the pipe from the converter to the muffler, the muffler, and the final length of pipe to open air. Cat Back exhaust systems are a very popular aftermarket performance enhancement. They generally use larger diameter pipe than the stock system. Good systems will have mandrel-bent turns that allow the exhaust gas to exit with as little back pressure as possible.

Turbo Back refers to the part of the exhaust system from the outlet of a turbocharger to the final vent to open air. Turbo Back systems are generally produced as aftermarket performance systems for cars with turbochargers. Some Turbo Back systems replace stock catalytic converters with others having less flow restriction.

Bully Dog Rapid Flow Exhaust System

We now carry Rapid Flow Exhaust Systems from Bully Dog. These exhaust systems are designed and built with minimal degree angles on bends resulting in the most free flowing, low back pressure systems in the industry.

The Bully Dog  Rapid Flow Exhaust Systems lower exhaust gas temperatures by as much as 200 degrees and increase horsepower 10-20 dependent upon size upgrade and current horsepower output.  Exhausts come in 16 gauge aluminized steel, T 304 micro shine stainless steel or T 409 stainless steel.  Exhaust styles are available in both single and dual exits. The Rapid Flow Exhausts Systems also features additional torque, full body sound, better throttle response, and improved fuel economy.

4 inch Rapid Flow Exhaust System: Recommended for under 450hp.

5 inch Rapid Flow Exhaust System: Recommended for 450- 550hp.

6 inch Rapid Flow Exhaust System: Recommended for 550- 600+hp
