BD Diesel Low Fuel Pressure LED Alarm – Inexpensive Protection!

The purpose of this kit is to indicate to the driver with the red/amber LED, if the supply fuel pressure of the VP44 injection pump is dropping below 5psi. Also note that damage may result to the VP44 if it is starved for fuel. If you are finding that  your existing setup cannot supply enough fuel for the VP44, you may want to look at some additional kits to protect your system.

On newer ISB engines the purpose of the kit is to alarm the driver once the fuel pressure drops below 5psi, indicating that an auxiliary pusher pump is needed. For safety anything over about 400 HP will need an auxiliary pusher pump.

A failing lift pump will not only cause sub-standard performance, it can cause costly damage to the injection pump. This EGR kit is designed to remove the EGR Assembly from your 2011 6.7L Powerstroke. This will remove the EGR Cooler, manifold pipes, coolant lines, and all EGR related electronics from your truck. Comes with all necessary block off plates, plugs, clamps, etc.

The Manifold block off plate is also a great location to install an aftermarket pyrometer. With the reverse head design on the scorpion, it makes it very difficult to find a place to install a pyrometer. This location will allow you to use an aftermarket pyrometer without drilling or modifying any factory parts.

South Bend Clutch

This Dyna Max kit features a variation from organic to organic and feramic or all feramic linings with marcelled fins. The pressure plate is modified for higher plate load and smoothness of engagement. This clutch was designed to cure premature disk failure due to high horse power and heavy hauling in the 5 speed and early 6 speed non-ETH 12 1/4″ clutches.

South Bend Clutch has taken the 13″ ETH clutch and modified it to accept the 1 1/4″ input shaft. By doing this, it enabled South Bend Clutch to offer a disk center that is 2-3 times larger and stronger than can be provided in the 12 1/4″ clutch kits. This kit comes with a flywheel, re-drilled and re-faced to accept the larger clutch and is rated to handle up to 475 horsepower & 1000 ft. lbs. of torque.

Transfer Flow has designed a fillneck kit for when removing a pickup box on 2003-09 Dodge gas and diesel pickups, and installing a utility bed. Fillneck kits are also available for putting utility bodies on 2007-11 Dodge diesel cab and chassis. Synthetic Oil VS. Regular Oil

Synthetic oil is an oil product that contains additional chemical ingredients that are not present in crude oils. These additional ingredients are synthesized or created artificially and added to petroleum as a means of meeting specific needs for lubrication.

Fully synthetic motor oils contain non-conventional, high-performance fluids and a system of additives that helps prevent wear, keeps engines clean, flows easily, maintains viscosity performance, prevents rust and reduces friction.

Using synthetic oil has many advantages associated with it. The addition of artificial ingredients also helps to ease the burden on diminishing crude oil reserves, making it possible to use natural oils much more efficiently. Using a synthetic product often minimizes the oil sludge issues in your truck especially in older vehicles. Synthetic oils also have a higher tolerance to heat and aging.

A major benefit of using synthetic oil is a more efficient performance when your trucks engine is started in cold weather. Petroleum-based motor oil thickens in cold temperatures, requiring the starter and battery to work much harder to start a cold engine. Synthetic oil is not as affected by low temperatures and begins to lubricate all the working parts much more quickly and efficiently than crude oil products would, thus lowering your chance of gumming and unnecessary wear on your trucks individual engine components.

Synthetic oil was originally developed as a way to deal with the shortage of crude oil products and is used more frequently today due to the better performance. During periods when the price of crude oil rises significantly, synthetic oils may also be a less expensive lubricant option to go with.

Advantages of Using Synthetic Oil:

• Better low and high temperature viscosity performance
• Improved fuel economy in most engines
• Decreased evaporative loss
• Better lubrication on cold starts
• Resistance to oxidation, thermal breakdown and oil sludge problems
• Oil changes are not needed as often because synthetic is more durable

Disadvantages of Using Synthetic Oil:

• The cost is usually 2 to 4 times more than petroleum-based oils
• The lower friction may make them unsuitable for break-in period
• Potential decomposition problems in certain chemical environments
• Potential stress cracking of plastic components like polypxymethylene (POM) in the presence of  polyalpholefins (POA’s)
• Synthetics do not hold lead in suspension as well as mineral oil
• Synthetic oils are not recommended in automotive rotary engines

ATS Diesel Twin CP3 Injection Pump Kit

 

 

The ATS Diesel Twin CP3 Kit for Dodge Cummins can be used on any Cummins motor ranging from a daily driver to competition use and is a MUST with high horsepower applications. A single CP3 injection pump can only supply a so much fuel before it becomes inefficient and unable to supply the commanded amount of fuel which causes both volume and pressure to drop. This will result in power loss, High EGT’s and decreased pump life.

Adding the ATS Twin CP3 Kit to your Cummins will supply the motor with the correct amount of fuel pressure that is being commanded by the ECM throughout the entire rpm range. ATS Twin CP3’s will flow enough fuel to allow the use of competition injector nozzles without setting a “Low Fuel Rail Pressure” code.
