T304, 409, or Aluminum: What’s the difference?
Silverline offers three types of diesel exhaust systems, the T304 series, the 409 Series, and Aluminized. While similar in design, there are differences in the raw material used to construct the systems. The four main variables purchasers should be aware of include: corrosion resistance, temperature endurance, finish quality and price.
T304 Steel Type: For the diesel owner who only wants the best, top of the line T304 stainless steel offers superior resistance to corrosion, can be polished to mirror bright finish and is able to withstand high levels of heat.

Aluminized Steel Type: Aluminized steel is lighter both in color and in weight than stainless steel and is priced lower than the other Silverline systems
